i see you everywhere even through the starfield

I started to play starfield again,  I know it wasn't your favorite game but it's the ONE game I can play at this point that is able to distract me.  Anyway. There was a mission where you find a slate,  on it is some coordinates for someone. You get there and you learn the story of Anders and Lucy. Lucy wanted to leave and follow her dreams as a scientist but Anders had a family and a farm to tend to. She leaves and Anders lives his life in regret until he goes to sleep one night and has a cigarette in his mouth. His house burns down, killing his family in the process. He then rebuilds and still has the mortgage for the farm to pay for,  he has to get involved with the Crimson Fleet (pirates) and he does what he has to do to get the money he needs, all the while he was writing on his journal slate. Saying he regrets not going with Lucy. He spent the rest of his life regretting that decision. That is until the Fleet find him and end his life. My job on this mission is to find Lucy and deliver the letter he wrote for her on one of his final days of living. How he never stopped loving her and how she was always the one for him but his bullishness stopped him from being there for her.   Once you deliver it to her, you find out she had a similar fate, Lucy was working for the United Colonies on a black site. Long story short, she had to inject herself with a virus and that's when you meet her,  she is orbiting Mercury, and she has her ship on autopilot.  However to get to where she wants to go, she needs an item I have. Giving her this item will end her life as she has the controls set to the heart of the sun. A tragic ending. As always. I think of you. I love you and miss you.
